♥Sunday, September 2

soooooo.... my last day of work at night fest ended yesterday.
really, mixed feelings lah.
at first, i dun really wanna do it and stuff like that cause its like so tiring and u have to approach ppl (like duh, surveyor need to approach ppl mah. if not ppl approach u meh?)
ok, approaching ppl was the first turn off for me at first.
but on the 2nd day (which is also the last day), im not sure why, but i got quite hyped lah. maybe because its the last day of the event and stuff like that. then i can really feel the atmosphere building up even though the event hasnt really started. (yah, dunno why i was so excited even though the event hasnt started)
ok, so there was this new guy yesterday called kenny. then before we even started work, we were talking lah. at that time, wt hasnt here yet. so yah, when sx (the in-charge) assigned us to our place, he's like.. "all three of u know each other ah?" and im like... "no, i only know her *pointing to wt*" and he's like.. "then why u and him talk as if u know each other like that?" LOL! ;x wads wrong with talking, anyway ;x
ok, so all three of us were assigned to SMU. was pretty fun. cause the day before, its only me and wt. so we target couples. she will survey one person. and i'll survey another one. but yesterday, we had three. so its very easy to target a group of at least 3 ppl.
then, the funny part. kenny went forward to a group of guys but got rejected straight. then wt is like.. "of course u get rejected lah. u guy wad. waiying, u go try!" and he's like "if the guy really do the survey, i really speechless. u go try lorh" ok, so i went... and got the guy to do the survey. LOL!
then after that, we were moved from SMU to SAM cause reached quota for SMU already. for the first half of the time we were there, we were walking around the museum, enjoying the aircon. and basically slacking. then after that sx came, so yah, we started to work lorh. and after awhile, he told us to slow down. k, so we slowly do. and after that, we gave him all the surveys and he's like "why u all do so many? dun do already. why u all so hardworking today? later they all ask me why last week so little then today so much" LOL! i dun even think i was working that hard lorh. most of the time, kenny was helping me even though i said it was ok ;x he even refused to write his name on the survey form lorh even though i kept asking him to write his name down.
ok, so sx asked us to stop. so, of course we did lah! and sat around, slacking (again) then at 2am, finally can go back~ :D
yah, so overall. this job wasnt that bad at all lah. its quite fun actually. u get to speak to alot of ppl. one person that i have a VERY deep impression is this 60+ woman from UK. she's a professor that has done her phd and travelling around. wad i totally LOVE abt her is her enthusiasm. even though she's 60+, she still has alot of energy and enthusiasm for events like this. seriously enjoyed talking to her. and even though she's alone, she's really enjoying herself. seeing her so happy, makes me very happy as well. i mean, wad greater joy is there other than seeing ppl feel happy? aw man.... thinking abt her, makes me wanna hug her for being so cute even at such an age.
seriously, i SWEAR! i seriously LOVE angmohs. especially if they're on the older side. they're so friendly and kind and so... happy abt life. maybe the environment that they grow up in is so much different. the stress level in sg is so high that practically no one is happy abt life.
>< and now, i miss working at gloria jeans again. cause i'll see angmohs everyday, sipping on coffee and just chilling. and sometimes, they'll just talk to u, all friendly and stuff. u dun really see much friendly singaporeans around. well, there are.. but u know... its VERY rare. even ppl from china, or philippines or even india. some of them are actually much more friendlier than most singaporeans, i swear. yah, singaporeans, its time to do something.
alright, shall stop my grandmother story here. time for anime! :D and yeah.... lunch >< at like... nearing 5? ><

Out Of Bounds:D
